Minnesota law enforcement is stepping up seat belt patrols now.

Minnesota's new seat belt law requires drivers and all passengers to be belted, including in the back seat. Officers will stop and ticket anyone in a vehicle for belt violations. A seat belt ticket is more than $100.

Speak up and insist your passengers are buckled up—every ride.
