View Finalists and Vote — Winner Announced May 24
Forty-five Minnesota teenagers produced spots to promote the dangers of distracted driving or the importance to buckle up — now it’s your chance to vote for the best teen-produced TV public service announcement.
Voting ends on May 19th. To encourage fair voting, please vote only once.
Before you vote, remember:
- Always buckle up — drivers and all passengers, including in the back seat must be belted. Extra seat belt patrols are on Minnesota roads May 20–June 2. Click It or Ticket!
- It’s illegal to text and drive, including when stopped in traffic. Take action to eliminate distractions and focus on the important task of driving.
- Passengers — Speak up to stop drivers from unsafe distracting behaviors, and volunteer to help the driver by handling calls/texts, music and navigation.
- Parents — Help your teen be a safer driver: Provide supervised driving experience in various conditions and environments and reinforce rules of the road and follow through with consequences. Find teen driving resources.
